Scottish Sculpture Workshop is an art school specializing in metal and wood working disciplines. In addition to classes, they have facilities open to public use and an international residency program. Their projects are multifaceted and focus on environmental sustainability as an underlying theme. In 2021, Bently Foundation awarded SSW with a £250,000 grant to expand their facility. The funds will help add space for additional residents, students and teachers, repair existing structures, and make their classes and accomodations more versatile for socially distanced learning.
